James Bond 25 news: Daniel Craig odds to return as 007 SLASHED with Tom Hardy just behind

Some fans have taken this to mean that the 007 star was done with the role and the franchise’s producers are gearing up to announce a new Bond.

But the latest odds have seen Craig’s chances of taking up the License to Kill again slashed to odds-on at 1-5.

The news comes from bookmakers Coral, who said he was previously at 1-2.

Meanwhile the chances of a new Bond are at 7-2, with Tom Hardy at 4-1 and Aidan Turner at 5-1.

Coral’s spokesman said: “Daniel Craig continues to attract a flurry of bets to stay on as James Bond for the new release where he is now long odds-on in the betting. If it isn’t Craig, Tom Hardy and Aidan Turner are the two names attracting the most bets to be the next 007.”

While Craig hasn’t been confirmed, just a few weeks ago and now the New York Times’s sources are claiming that “Mr Craig’s return is a done deal”.

James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in early November 2019.
