James Bond 25: NEW movie officially CONFIRMED for 2019 but NOT with Daniel Craig

After months of speculation, the official social media accounts have revealed when the new movie is to be expected.

The franchise’s statement read: “James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world.

“Bond 25 will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

“The film’s cast, director and distributor will be announced at a later date.”

While the news is very exciting for Bond fans, the last line may come as something of a surprise.

It would be assumed that if Craig was returning the opening line would have been: “Daniel Craig will return as James Bond…”

The 49-year-old star still hasn’t been officially confirmed, with rumours rife he could be replaced in this later announcement –

Nevertheless just a few weeks ago a source claimed that and now the New York Times are claiming that “Mr Craig’s return is a done deal”.

Their two sources asked for anonymity to avoid conflicts with Eon and MGM, said the New York Times.

James Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas in early November 2019.
