James Bond 25 ‘DELAYED so Daniel Craig can focus on wife Rachel Weisz’s pregnancy’

Last week Craig’s wife Weisz, 48, revealed she was pregnant with their first child.

Following the news speculation mounted that the star would quit the role to focus on family.

In fact William Hill bookmakers are offering odds of 10/1 that “Daniel Craig takes no part in next Bond film.”

Now it’s alleged he will stay in the role, but Bond 25 will be delayed.

The new 007 movie, Craig’s fifth and final outing, is set for release in November 2019.

But now shooting has supposedly been pushed back from this autumn to next year.

A film source told : “Pushing back the schedules suits all parties.

“Daniel can concentrate on matters at home with Rachel, which are pretty life-changing, to say the least.”

The main reason given wasn’t the Weisz’s pregnancy, but Boyle’s rom-com with Lily James having a release date of September 13, 2019.

With a 2020 release for Bond 25 now looking much more likely, it will have been a five year gap since his last 007 outing, Spectre.

The move will also make him the longest-serving Bond actor, surpassing Sir Roger Moore who played the role from 1973-1985.

Moore made seven movies to Craig’s five, but the latter will have been in the part for two years more than the late star.
