Ivanka Trump accessorises with HUGE jewel earrings for W20 Summit gala dinner

The 35-year-old joined German Chancellor Angela Merkel earlier today to discuss ways to encourage women’s economic empowerment.

The panel discussion formed part of the W20 Summit, a women-focused effort within the group of G20 countries, entitled ‘Inspiring women: Scaling up women’s entrepreneurship’.

A few hours later, showing no signs of weakness, she was photographed arriving at a gala dinner at Deutsche Bank, part of the W20 summit.

Ivanka was photographed wearing a sleek knee-length white dress, with a high neck and three quarter length sleeves.

She accessorised with a pair of huge green earrings, a gold clutch bag and black stiletto heels.

He hair was tied up, sitting on the nape of her neck, and she kept her make-up natural-looking with a nude lip.

She finished off the look wearing a beaming smile.

During the discussion earlier in the day, the First Daughter responded to concerns about Trump’s attitudes towards women.

She said: “I’ve certainly heard the criticism from the media and that has been perpetuated but I know from personal experience and I know the thousands of women who have worked with and for my father for decades when he was in the private sector are a testament to his belief and solid conviction in the potential of women and their ability to do the job as well as any man.

“I think in my personal experience, and you were making about my role as daughter and also advisor, as a daughter I can speak on a very personal level, knowing that he encouraged me and enabled me to thrive.

“I grew up in a house where there was no barriers to what I could accomplish beyond my own perseverance and my own tenacity and I don’t take that lightly as a parent now myself.

“That is not an easy thing to do and he did that and he provided that for us. There was no difference from me and my brothers and I think as a business leader you saw that and as a president you will absolutely see that.”
