IT movie: Guess which A-list actress almost starred as TERRIFYING Pennywise the Clown

Film fans will remember Tim Curry’s iconic performance as Pennywise in the TV miniseries of IT back in 1990.

Now 26-year-old Bill Skarsgard has taken up the role of the terrifying clown monster in the IT movie, which is released this September.

Originally it was Will Poulter who was set to take on the horror role, however he had to drop out due to other projects.

Nevetheless IT movie producer Barbara has revealed that at one point they had their eye on none other than Tilda Swinton.

The film, which is set in 1989 is the first part of two movies. Part 2 will be set 30 years later and shooting starts next year.

IT will be released on September 8, 2017.
