Infiniti is firmly entrenched in SUV land. In addition to the launch of the new 2019 QX50 crossover, Infiniti recently gave the QX80 a handsome update. Now Nissan’s premium brand is showing an even swankier trim called Limited for the QX80 and the aging QX60.

Visual enhancements for the new QX60 Limited come in the form of a dark chrome grille, fog-lamp surrounds, and door moldings. The roof rails are darkened, the lower bumper has new gloss-black paint, and the standard rolling stock has been replaced with 20-inch dark-finished aluminum wheels. The interior is a classy blend of yin and yang, with quilted and perforated gray semi-aniline leather seats on all three rows and a black dashboard. Dark stitching and piping on the seats and quilted door panels create more contrast, while dark silver wood trim and floor mats with contrast piping and metal logos add flair.

On the QX80, the story is similar. The front and rear lower bumpers have been tweaked, while the fenders are stuffed full of 22-inch dark machine-finished wheels. The exterior trim and roof rails are satin chrome, and stainless-steel running boards are included as well. Welcome lighting displays the Infiniti logo, and a new Anthracite Gray paint is offered in addition to the four other colors.

Inside, the seats are covered with two-tone semi-aniline leather and faux suede, with contrast piping and contrast stitching in a quilted pattern. The steering wheel, grab handles, and shift knob are also wrapped in smooth leather, while matte-silver open-pore ash wood graces the center stack and center console. The headliner and pillars are black microfiber suede. Extra goodies include floor mats with a metal logo, illuminated kick plates, and Limited branding on the shifter surround.
