I’m A Celebrity 2019: Kate Garraway snaps at Andrew for ‘kicking off’ over bananas

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returned to ITV for a Saturday night instalment and those watching at home tuned in to see all twelve celebrity campmates take part in a Bushtucker Trial. Before that, viewers were shown footage from earlier that day and ask the Jailhouse Camp woke up to the sounds of the Australian outback, they also woke up to ants infesting their precious food recourses. And for Kate Garraway, who clearly hadn’t had enough sleep, she snapped at Andrew Maxwell when he suggested she remove the fruit.

It came as those in Jailhouse Camp were getting themselves ready for the day.

Together they were deciding what to have for breakfast and Andrew suggested: “Banana rice for breakfast anyone?”

“Banana rice for breakfast that’s fabulous!” Kate commented.

“I don’t think I can choke on banana rice,” the Irish comedian remarked in reference to the camel meat he choked on last night.

“That’s when you kick off,” the EastEnders star continued to explain.

Those watching at home then saw Andrew in the Bush Telegraph and he said: “I get hangry just before every meal. It turns out that’s just my trait. My wife did warn me.”

Back at camp, Kate and Jacqueline joked: “It goes between ‘chatter chatter chatter, lovely, lovely, lovely’ to ‘Kate get them out! The bananas! Get them out! There’s an ant!’”

However those watching at home were confused as to why they even had bananas in the jungle.
