I’m A Celebrity 2017: Jennie McAlpine exposes what show is REALLY like amid jungle exit

The 33-year-old Coronation Street actress managed 23 days in camp, but just missed tomorrow night’s grand finale.

However, in her exit interview with hosts Ant and Dec, Jennie revealed what the show was really like and compared it to a pregnancy.

Jennie explained: “I don’t know if it was a shock. I’m speechless. It has been amazing. I think because we were all talking about one last day together. I’m going to miss them so much.

“I thought I’d be better at it then I was. I didn’t listen and they lie. The girls will know what I’m talking about.

“It’s like giving birth. It’s like a birth story. Nobody tells you what actually happens and nobody tells you what happens on I’m A Celebrity because we wouldn’t believe them even if they told us. Honestly!”

Jennie received a surprise visit from her husband in the jungle before her exit, but is now looking forward to being reunited with her son.

She said: “It was so much harder than I thought. Everything you prepare for isn’t what you need to prepare for.

“I have been away from [my son] Albert for four nights in his whole life. Three weeks apart is just… I can’t wait to see him.”

Tomorrow’s final will see Jamie Lomas, Iain Lee and Georgia “Toff” Toffolo face each other to be crowned winner.

continues tomorrow night on at 9pm.
