Grand National 2018: Female race-goers flaunt figures in revealing outfits for final day

The Grand National is one of the biggest sporting events of the year, with today being the last day of the three-day event.

Whilst many attend for the races and runners, a number of women regularly attend to sport their finest garb for the day.

Ladies Day saw the races being plagued with rain, which hardly stopped some of the skimpy outfits being on show.

With better weather today, female event-goers have descended upon the final day to celebrate the event.

A number of young women were raucous in their cheering on the races whilst one of them wore a plunging black dress.

Two young women were seen supporting elsewhere with one raising her glass in celebration in a bright green dress and matching bag.

Her companion, clutching a prossecco bag and her tickets, wore a revealed white dress as she looked on in shock.

One young woman went for an elegant floral black dress with an overcoat in nude, smiling as she joined the celebrations.

A monochrome look that saw fascinations and overcoats was the look of two young ladies.

Yesterday’s rain saw many choose some plastic ponchos as they joined the other 150,000 people attending the prestigious event.

This didn’t deter their style as many opted for punting gowns showing off their assets.

Some went for masked and oversized fascinators to stand out on the day whilst others flaunted their behinds in skimpy and see-through skirts.

Nicky Moloney, 38, travelled from Manchester and chose £4 Primark umbrellas to shield her for the day.

The blonde said: “We saw the weather forecast and thought ‘uh oh!’

“So we bought matching see-through brollies so we could be dry and show off our fashions at the same time.”

Last year saw the day procede with much better weather as many revelled in the hotter 19 degree sunshine. This year saw a much colder 7 degree temperature

Celebrities attending the event included TV presenter Jeremy Kyle, 52, comedian Jason Manford, 36, Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts, 32, and The Saturdays star Vanessa White, 28.
