Launched in 2005, Google Maps use their 360-degree cameras to allow users to explore the world.
But the footage isn’t just useful for checking on your neighbours.
With cameras and cars constantly circulating, unidentified objects just like this one are often captured.
Spotted in Ochopee, Florida, something strange and unidentifiable as been caught.
The central area of the Big Cypress National Preserve needs closer examination.
The unknown object can be seen hovering over the trees in a deserted section of the preserve.
The sighting happened alongside a path running through the park.
At first glance it is easy to overlook.
Looking closer it is clear this isn’t normal.
The colourful object has been cut off mid-air.
As this part of the park is empty, whatever this is, it’s out of place.
Although this is considerable smaller than those usually classified as UFO’s, this flying substance isn’t normal.
This isn’t the first time Google Maps has potentially captured a ‘UFO’.
Previous footage taken in Arizona appears to have captured a ‘UFO’ crash landing.
The thought to be crash site was spotted by the @secureteam10 on YouTube.
According to the original showcase, the crash site is on a strict no-fly zone.
