Google Maps Street View – developed in 2007 two years after Google Maps – is often used by people looking to plan their directions or look up an address.
It has also captured a number of beautiful landmarks and natural phenomena over the years.

Spotted in Altus Avenue in Mojave, California is a sign reading “End” where the road stops.
Looking past it there is nothing in sight apart from a long dirt track and desert for miles.

As the end of the road, drivers attempting to traverse the region are warned to turn back as opposed to tackle the treacherous route.
The Mojave Desert is one of the driest deserts in North America, meaning it would be a great destination for hell with the weather conditions.
There is little in the area although is known to be the only location where the Joshua trees are present.
Route 66 passes through the Mojave Desert, which is one of the original highways in the US, measuring 2,448 miles.
Another gate to hell has been captured by the Google cameras.
A mysterious sight in Turkmenistan shows a crater that has been burning for over 40 years yet no-one knows why.
Called the Darvaza Gas Crater, translating as “Door to Hell”, it has become a popular tourist attraction with travellers.
It has been burning since 1971 and is the largest gas field in the world.
