Google Maps Street View has revealed a number of roads and pathways across the world by using advanced photography technology.
This has enabled people online to plan their journeys and find addresses easily, something that didn’t seem possible just a few years ago.
Whilst it has opened up the world to experience from home, it is easy to capture people in some very bizarre situations.
One young woman on a bike was caught by the 360-degree camera when walking her dogs.
The embarrassing moment has since been immortalised on the internet.
Posted by Google Street View World is a woman with two dogs running alongside her bike on leads.
She is alone on the wide road, with no other people or cars to distract her.
Yet the next image captures one dog behind the bike whilst the other one strains at his lead a few feet away.
The poor lady has been thrown to the floor by the antics of the dogs who appear to have got in the way of the wheel.
She has two hands on the floor whilst the bike is tangled up between her feet.
As she sits on the pavement with the two dogs next to her, she seems resigned to her fate as she realises she was caught by the Google camera.
Thankfully she appears unhurt although the dogs look rather sheepish as she scolds them.
The destination of the unlucky accident, in light of Friday 13 is unknown.
Whilst no-one else at the time saw the incident, it has now been seen by hundreds of people in the rest of the world.
It isn’t the first time an unlucky incident on a bike was caught by the Street View car.
A woman in Japan was caught riding her bicycle on a narrow dirt track road.
As she nears the Google vehicle, she runs out of room as she tries to squeeze past.
The camera then captures her falling into the ditch next to the car.
She is thrown against the wall in a painful position with her bike next to her.
The later images show her to be unhurt, if not embarrassed.
