Gogglebox favourites the Malone family were enjoying a quiet night in front of the television when Tom Jr decided to show off an impressive jump.
He revealed that he could create a hoop with his leg and then jump through it.
While his family were initially sceptical about his claims, they were left impressed when he succeeded.
His brother Shaun then decided that he would give the move a go.
However it did not go to plan and he ended up falling on his face.
As Shaun jumped up in the air, he lost his balance and fell towards the cameras in the Malone family’s living room.
His father Tom rushed to try and grab him as he fell but it was too late.
Falling flat on his face, Shaun no doubt suffered a bump or two after the embarrassing incident.
His brother Tom Jr was of course left in hysterics as he watched Shaun’s failed attempt.
The hilarious moment was captured and shared on the C4 Gogglebox official Twitter account.
Those tuning into tonight’s episode were quick to comment on the incident.
One viewer shared: “Don’t know what’s funnier, @shaunmalone falling over or Toms attempt to catch him. So much effort and literally slips through his hands.”
Another added: “Hilarious but I think Tom should have a go!!!”

Ahead of tonight’s programme, the salaries of the Gogglebox families was revealed.
An insider told The Sun that each family receives a monthly allowance of £1,500.
Furthermore, they are provided with takeaways to enjoy while watching the required television.
The wage is then split between the families at their discretion.
In order to be paid, the families are expected to sit through 12 hours of television for two six-hour shifts.
Gogglebox airs Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
