Gary Barlow reveals why he REALLY walked off The One Show and he did NOT have 'the s**ts'

During the topical BBC show, the 46-year-old casually stormed off the set mid-interview after telling hosts Richard Osmon and Angela Scanlon he “wasn’t feeling very well”.

After performing Take That’s latest single Giants, Gary swiftly took to Twitter to assure fans he was ok.

“Thank you all for the messages. I’m absolutely fine,” he wrote. “We had a very hot dressing room and I thought I was gong to faint on live TV!”

Though, his bandmate Howard Donald, 48, told a different story.

“Please don’t worry about Gary,” he teased. “He told me he was touching cloth before he went on. He obviously went off to lay one. X”

During Gary’s shock exit, Angela and Richard joked that another member of Take That had left the group following the departures of Robbie Williams and Jason Orange.

Angela went on to joke: “You know what? You’re use to people dipping in and out,” which spurred Mark Owen on to say in jest: “Do you mind if I just go? I’m not feeling very well, either.”

Richard then declared: “How Howard became Take That,” as the musician sat there alone with a proud look on his face.

The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
