Gardeners’ World cancelled: Monty Don series taken off air in BBC Two shake-up 

He posted a short video of his garden with the morning mist and someone asked: “Good morning Monty. Is it all cosy, pipe, slippers and lazy breakfasts now you’re not filming GW?” 

“Ha! Book to finish, articles to write, garden to run, a thousand requests to deal with,” he replied. 

“Filming days are the easiest I have!” 

Gardeners’ World is set to return to BBC Two next year and the 2020 series can be watched on the BBC iPlayer now.
