Frozen 2 cast adds two NEW characters as Kristen Bell reveals ‘it’s VERY good’

The follow-up to Disney’s enormous 2013 smash is due in late 2019, and a couple of stars have been touted to join the cast.

According to Th Wrap, Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown are both close to signing up.

Wood has recently been seen in Westworld, while Brown has picked up masses of acclaim for his work in This Is Us.

They’ll join the likes of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel in the inevitable sequel to one of the most successful films of all time.

Bell recently said she was very pleased with the direction the sequel had taken, revealing in April that she had already finished her parts.

“I have recorded the movie,” Bell said on Ellen DeGeneres’ chatshow.

“There will be edits before it’s finished. I know the songs, I know the story — it’s very good!”

Some fans interpreted Menzel’s character Elsa as a subtle reference to the LGBTQ+ community, with her struggles about keeping a part of her identity under wraps from naysayers.

Co-director Jennifer Lee responded recently: “I love everything people are saying [and] people are thinking about with our film ― that it’s creating dialogue, that Elsa is this wonderful character that speaks to so many people.

“It means the world to us that we’re part of these conversations.Where we’re going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we’re really conscientious about these things.

“For me… Elsa’s every day telling me where she needs to go, and she’ll continue to tell us.

“I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa’s doing in her life, she’s telling me every day. We’ll see where we go.”

Incredibles 2 recently became the highest grossing animation of all time at the US box office, but Frozen remains the record-holder worldwide – after making $ 1.276 billion.

Frozen 2 is out on November 27, 2019.
