Fortnite developer Epic Games has launched a series of bonus challenges as part of the Fortnitemares Halloween event.
The limited time event lets players unlock Halloween-themed sprays and XP by completing different challenges.
The LTM concludes the Cube storyline, adding PvE elements to the Battle Royale experience.
“The Cube strikes back, bringing Fortnitemares to Battle Royale!” reads a recent Epic post. “Drop in and discover what the Cube has unleashed.”
It turns out that Cube Fragments spawn monsters, which come in multiple different types.
Large Cube Fragments can be found near corrupted areas of the island, while Small Cube Fragments are created randomly throughout the match.
Epic has already released two sets of challenges for the Fortnitemares event, while two additional sets of challenges will launch before Halloween.
One of the Fortnitemares challenges tasks players with destroying ghost decorations in different named locations.
You’ll need to destroy seven in total, although you don’t have to complete the challenge in a single match. You can see the location of the Ghost decorations in the image above.
Another Fortnitemares challenge tasks players with dancing in front of five Gargoyles.
One of the Gargoyles can be found west of Lazy Links inside the Umbrella mine, while another is in the Tomato Temple courtyard.
Needless to say, there’s also a Gargoyle in the castle at Haunted Hills. There’s one in the basement of a house in Retail Row, and a final Gargoyle in the Viking village.
