Their reunion was much anticipated, as the rivals last saw each other in season three, during a fight which left Salazar in a horrific state.

However it seems as if their fighting is now a little water-under-the-bridge, as they met with a less than aggressive demeanour.

It doesn’t look like Strand is out of the woods with Salazar just yet, though, and actor Colman has recently explained he isn’t afraid of being killed off or turned in upcoming episodes.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, he explained he isn’t afraid of being killed off, adding: “Not at all.”

“Honestly,” he continued. “I feel like I’m so prepared that if they told me that I was going to be bitten this season or next season, I think I would be okay.”

Colman went on to say it is not a fear he has anymore – which doesn’t bode well for his character.

His lack of fear doesn’t come from being confident in his employability, however, it comes down to the show’s narrative.

Colman explained: “I think, you know, the nature of storytelling, and you feel like whatever tells the best story… it’s just the nature of the show.”

Despite sounding like his story could be up soon, he did go on to clarify: “I think Strand has a lot more story to tell, but I think that who knows.

“If they decided something else, I think cool.”

Colman is also jumping into episode three as director of the episode – which is a first for the actor.

If the showrunners did decide to kill him off, at least he may still be employed by the show as a director – if all works out.

Last week’s episode dropped a nuclear bombshell on the show’s audience, as a new type of walker was revealed: the nuclear walker.

After being attacked by a zombie which looked a little different than usual, Morgan (Lennie James) was told by newcomer Grace (Karen David) they were radioactive.

Showrunners Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the inclusion of the new enemies, and revealed they were originally going to bring them on board back in season four.

They explained: “Just to add, we almost did radioactive zombies in season four, but we just really didn’t have the room for it.

“So it’s something we kind of had in our back pocket that we were very excited about, and just having walkers that weren’t as easy to kill.”

If the nuclear walkers have a huge part to play in the rest of the season, they may be a huge change-up for the show.

Fear the Walking Dead continues Monday on AMC UK, while The Walking Dead is expected to return later this year.
