Emmy Awards 2017: Worst dressed stars flash knickers and reveal EXTREME cleavage

Heidi Klum, 44, clashed with the red carpet in a dress of the same colour.

But sadly, this was not the worst of it, as her dress choice, with its extreme thigh slit and ultra-low neckline, showed off far too much flesh.

She paired the dress with a pair of bizarre wooden hoop earrings and matching wooden bangles.

Sarah Hyland, 26, was another star who showed more than she bargained for on the night.

Posing happily for pictures, Sarah didn’t realise that the top of her black knickers were peeping up over her dress.

The red number, which featured a pretty autumn leaf print, had a modern silhouette with a cutaway in the middle.

The cutout detail showed off Sarah’s toned waist to perfection, but sadly showed off her underwear too.

Moments after taking her place on the red carpet, the Modern Family star noticed the wardrobe malfunction and pulled the dress up.

Her co-star Ariel Winter, 19, left little to the imagination in her very revealing outfit.

She chose a dark beaded dress which had two extreme thigh slits.

It was also sheer, showing off her bra underneath, and had a very low cut to the side of the top, revealing plenty of side-boob.

Another celebrity who opted for a sheer dress was Silicone Valley star Amanda Crew, 31. The grey and yellow dress should have been a triumph, but was let down by bad underwear choices, as Amanda’s nude ‘granny pants’ were on full display.

It wasn’t all flesh-flashing though, as some of the celebrities just chose unflattering dresses.

Debra Messing, 49, picked a gown made from a very odd shiny material.

And Tessa Thompson, 33, who stars in Thor:Ragnarok, picked a dress with a great shape, but again made from a bizarre shiny material.

It was also a strange mashup of colours, but the rainbow effect missed the mark.
