Emmerdale spoilers: Emma Barton star warns barn blaze is 'HORRENDOUS' ahead of shock death

In a teasing segment on This Morning, Gillian and her co-star Natalie J. Robb, who plays Moira Barton, admitted that the drama will take another unbelievable turn.

Fans will recall that last night’s instalment saw a horrific fire sweep through the Barton’s barn, and as Emma turned to leave her nemesis to burn, Moira went into a surprise labour.

Now, Gillian, 45, warned: “It’s a horrendous week in all for Emma.

“Things happen that you can’t foresee, it’s just horrendous,” she hinted.

Will Emma get her comeuppance or will Moira and her unborn baby die?

Last night’s instalment left viewers baffled at the unexpected baby bombshell.

Taking to Twitter in shock, Emmerdale fans were begging to know who the child’s father is, with one posting: “Oooft, Emmerdale Moira is having a baby didn’t see that coming #whosthedaddy.”

Another questioned: “Did Moira just say I think I’m having a baby?!?!”

A third mused: “Hang on, Moira’s pregnant?! WTAF. Who’s the daddy? Pete? James?”

Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV at 7pm.
