Tonight’s nail-biting instalment of Emmerdale closed with Lachlan (played by Thomas Atkinson) hinting that he’s bumped off Chrissie’s (Louise Marwood) uncle Tim Richards (Mark Morgahan).
Lachlan kidnapped Tim and hid him in the boot of his own car, before roughing him up in disturbing scenes.
Taking his grandson to one side, Lawrence White (John Bowe) gasped: “What have you done?”
“Let’s just say you don’t have to worry about Tim ever again,” Lachlan smirked.
Lachlan’s vengeance comes after Chrissie tried to kiss her own uncle in a contorversial incest storyline, which naturally riled up Lachlan the wrong way.
What’s more, the White family – consisting of Chrissie, Lawrence and Lachlan – are all reported to be bowing out of the ITV soap in the coming months.
It’s been widely speculated that Lachlan will embark on a twisted serial killer storyline which will inevitably leave shockwaves thought the Yorkshire village for years to come.
Among those on his hit list are said to be Lawrence and Emma Barton (Gillian Kearney), who is rumoured to be getting her gory comeuppance at Christmas.
Also in tonight’s Emmerdale, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) finally returned but left Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) heartbroken.
