EastEnders spoilers: Ted Murray's shooting victim REVEALED? Have you guessed who it is?

After teasing an “evil intruder” in silhouette through a glass door, Ted (played by Christopher Timothy) decided to take action and blasted a bullet through it.

Viewers have yet to discover the identity of the victim, but it appears to be fatal after the body slumped face down to the ground.

As the shot exploded from the gun, fans watched on as the bullet cracked the glass and the injured character fell through the door to Murrays’ horror.

Ted feared that burglars would seize the opportunity in the mayhem to loot houses, following on from their recent robbery.

His wife Joyce (Maggie Steed) tried to calm him down and get rid of the gun before he reacted in panic.

Spoilers have revealed Johnny Carter (Ted Reilly) being stretchered off in an ambulance, which may suggest he is the unfortunate victim of the bullet.

The Taylor and Baker families were seen scurrying around Albert Square searching for their pet dog Bronson – could one character have knocked on the door during their search?

Viewers instantly took to social media to speculate about which character was hit and to congratulate the BBC on an “epic” episode.

One viewer tweeted: “Ted shot Johnny. Steven will perhaps kill Jane. Max is the devil. Linda was ill. Abi is a psycho. That was a great episode. #EastEnders.”

“An underage affair, a cancer revelation, a gas explosion, arson and a shooting all in one ep?? Whaa #eastenders,” posted another.

A third said: “Linda had cancer, Johnny gets shot, Bex kisses her teacher & Steven tries to kill Jane, all in 1 episode!! #EastEnders back to its best!”

continues this Thursday on at 7.30pm.
