EastEnders spoilers: Stacey Slater stuns with SHOCK confession amid Kat death bombshell

The EastEnders stalwart (played by Lacey Turner) was positively grief-stricken when she learned her cousin, Kat (Jessie Wallace), was dead.

It was all a rouse by Big Mo (Laila Morse) who was strapped for cash and decided to do a fundraiser in her memory.

Although the hoax was cruel, it seems there was different consequences for the Slater family.

As Stacey and Mo argued about why the latter would lie about such a thing, they appeared at loggerheads.

Stacey recently reunited with Martin (James Bye) after a brief split and it seems they found themselves getting seriously intimate.

She yelled at Mo: “I’ve had grief sex and now I have to tell him it’s nothing and it’s meaningless!”

Despite the severity of the situation, viewers couldn’t believe what they were hearing and flocked to Twitter to discuss the hilarious confession.

One wrote: “‘Grief sex’ – yes that’s exactly the kind of phrase that Stacey would use…”

A second laughed: “‘I’ve had grief sex but it wasn’t even that’ this episode is on fire!”

Another was stunned, and added: “Oh Stace….. How you telling your gran you had ‘Grief Sex’.”

A fourth joked: “Only the slaters would have grief’ sex.”

Meanwhile, Kat finally made her dramatic return to Albert Square in the action-packed episode.

Dressed in leopard-print, red heels and matching lipstick, the iconic character sure knew how to pack a punch with her entrance.

She gazed up at the Queen Vic which was throwing a party in aid of her memorial and it seemed she was not happy.

Kat started: “What the -,“ before being cut off by the famous duff-duffs.

EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 9pm.
