EastEnders spoilers: Mick Carter hires hitman to TAKE OUT Aidan Maguire amid dark threats?

EastEnders‘ Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) is offered a way out after falling victim to Aidan’s (Patrick Bergin) cunning ways.

The Queen Vic landlord, who owes Aidan a substantial amount of money, could have the villain murdered in a shocking new twist.

In upcoming episodes of the hit BBC series, Mick asks former police officer Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to help him find dirt on Aidan.

He is determined to handle the situation privately after his wife Linda (Kellie Bright) threatened to call the police again.

The Carters have been living in fear ever since Aidan said he would harm the entire family if Mick did not comply with him.

Meanwhile, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) discovers that Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) knows Aidan, however, he is pressured into keeping it a secret.

But when he has a conversation with Mick, he reveals that Mel is connected to Aidan and has been for sometime.

Later, Aidan catches Mick leaving the club and warns Mel to stay away from him before punching an unsuspecting Billy.

Scared that Mick could be in serious danger, Mel hands him a number to call to have Aidan taken out once and for all.

However, Mick is uncomfortable with Mel’s suggestion to kill off Aidan and tells her he’s not that type of man.

When Mick returns to the pub he discovers that petrol has been poured all over the place and that Aidan has left a note warning him that the Carters have until Tuesday evening to hand over the money.

Elsewhere, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) returns to Albert Square after visiting his son Ben (Harry Reid), but he is blindsided when he finds out that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) has reopened the club and hired Mel as a manager.

With the reopening of the club, Aidan grows suspicious of Phil and asks him how he could possibly afford to relaunch.

Meanwhile, Phil is still fearful about the missing money. He confronts Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and demands to know exactly where the cash is.

Will Aidan suspect Phil is responsible for the missing money? And if so, what lengths will he go to get it back?

EastEnders airs tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
