Actress Lorna Fitzgerald, who first appeared in the soap back in 2006, has now broken her silence following her character’s death.

Taking to Twitter, the 21-year-old thanked fans for their support and forgave her on-screen dad Max Branning (played by Jake Wood) for the incident on the Queen Vic roof.

Actor Jake tweeted: “As you know @LornaFitz0 I am so proud of all the incredible work you’ve done over the last 12 years and more importantly of the grounded and amazing young woman you’ve become in that time. It’s truly been an honour to watch you grow and flourish. Love ya x.”

Lorna replied: “Couldn’t have asked for a better on screen Dad! You truly have been an incredible role model, I’ve learnt so much from you. You’re completely forgiven for the roof btw.”
