EastEnders spoilers: Harry Reid's chilling warning about Ben Mitchell’s controversial exit

The young mechanic was dealt a cruel blow this week after discovering boyfriend Luke Browning’s (played Adam Astill) secret business card, marked Project Dagmar.

Dagmar was of course the bar where Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) was raped by James Wilmott-Brown (William Boyde), Luke’s father, and all of a sudden the pieces are gradually falling into place.

What’s more, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) uncovered the Browning’s plans to demolish the Queen Vic and also put herself in the firing line before she departs the soap over the coming weeks.

While fans wait with baited breath to see what becomes of Ben, actor Harry Reid has warned it could “kick off”.

Speaking to radio station 103 The Eye, the actor teased his exit storyline will be “exciting”.

“It’s typical Ben,” he added: “There’s two sides to all of his stories.”

Harry continued: “It’s a big storyline and it will have people vouching for different sides. It might kick off a little bit.”

Next week Ben will face another beating from his now ex-boyfriend when the youngster refuses to give their relationship another go.

After being dumped and throttled in The Aches last week, it’s easy to see why.

EastEnders continues Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
