Fans were shocked to learn Alfie (played by Shane Richie) was actually alive in yesterday night’s instalment of EastEnders after he was pushed down the stairs by Hayley Slater (Katie Jarvis).
He fled the Slater house with baby Cherry believing the tot would be better off with him.
In tonight’s episode of the long-running BBC soap, Alfie could be seen hiding out in his car with the baby.
He was soon joined by Phil (Steve McFadden), who handed over two passports.
It quickly became clear Alfie plans to leave the country with baby Cherry.
But after a few words of advice from Phil about what is best for the tot, could he change his mind?
Phil asked Alfie: “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?”
“What leave her with Hayley? You think she’s a good mum do you?” Alfie hit back.
Phil replied: “Kids need family. Not life on the run.”
“Family… you know who you sound like,” Alfie sighed.
Phil simply added: “This ain’t you. Do the right thing.”
He then left Alfie to think about his next move and it seems Alfie may have changed his mind about going on the run.
Hayley is devastated to have lost baby Cherry and blames Kat (Jessie Wallace) for Alfie taking her.
In a shock turn of events, could Alfie change his mind and leave Cherry to be found by the Slaters?
He’s certainly not very popular with the family anymore so he could leave on his own.
But will he be able to abandon his children and Kat after all or simply hide out for a while?
Meanwhile, Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) got very cosy with Keanu (Danny Walters).
The pair enjoyed a steamy clinch after Louise broke up with Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) and Keanu was dumped by Sharon (Letitia Dean).
Fans are now speculating Louise could end up pregnant with Keanu’s baby.
