Loose Women host Ruth Langsford, 57, looked apprehensive as Katie Price, 39, held the results from her husband Eamonn Holmes’ test.
“I’m not worried. I have nothing to hide,” Eamonn, 57, insisted.
The first two questions revealed that Eamonn had told the truth about not being jealous of his wife’s male friends and not checking her phone behind her back.
However, when it came to lying about his whereabouts, the ITV presenter wasn’t quite so honest and forthcoming.
“Eamonn was asked: ‘Have you ever lied to Ruth about where you’ve been?’,” Katie announced, continuing: “Eamonn said no. He was lying.”
The studio audience gasped as Ruth turned a steely glare on her other half.
“Where have you been and not told me?” she asked.
Eamonn appeared slightly flustered as he tried to explain himself, saying: “The only time I lie to you about that is when you come and and say to me have you walked the dogs and I say yes. That’s the only time I lie to you.”
“Well recovered,” she replied, taking the awkward moment in good humour as she laughed it off.
Later in the show, she offered him the chance to revise his explanation, but Eamonn stuck by his story, reiterating that he only lied about walking the dog.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
