Doctor Foster's Sian Brooke on co-star Suranne Jones: She is a giggle

Sian Brooke says working with Suranne and the cast of the dark drama wasn’t what she expected. “Suranne works really hard but with it she brings a lot of fun.

We had a shared sense of humour and there were quite a few scenes where we got the giggles,” says Sian, 37.

Sian will play a new GP, also called Sian, working alongside sinister Dr Gemma Foster, played by Suranne, who exposed her husband Simon’s affair with much younger graduate Kate in the last series.

In the second series, starting on Tuesday, Gemma’s now ex-husband moves back to the area with Kate and their daughter.
