Dirty Dancing Photos: First Look at ABC's Remake (Including That Lift)

Whoa, Baby!

ABC has dumped upon us a heap of photos from its upcoming Dirty Dancing remake, offering our first look at — among other things — Abigail Breslin (Scream Queens) and Colt Prattes as the film’s iconic couple, Frances (aka Baby) and Johnny.

Visually, there aren’t too many surprises in store. The remake — airing Wednesday, May 24 at 8/7c — appears to honor the vibe of the original 1963-set film; Breslin’s Baby is dressed like a living doll, while Prattes appears to fully embrace Johnny’s wild style.

These new photos also feature the film’s supporting cast, which includes Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) as Lisa Houseman, Debra Messing (Will & Grace) as Marjorie Houseman, Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) as Vivian Pressman and Nicole Scherzinger (The X Factor) as Penny Johnson.
