Destiny Forsaken Raid glitch means shock early loot drop for Guardians

Unfortunately for Bungie Destiny Forsaken fans have managed to start unwrapping some of their presents early.

Not only have Guardians found a way to glitch into the new raid early, but they’ve also been finding some loot too.

It’s not that shocking to learn of players glitching into a new area in Destiny 2, and it’s become a bit of a trend with any new release.

But this time, players have found some chests to open as part of the Last Wish Raid.

The new Forsaken Raid is expected to go live on Friday, September 14, and will offer Fireteams the chance to try out a newly revamped model.

It has also been confirmed that when Last Wish becomes available, the first fireteam of six to complete the raid will have the opportunity to acquire real-world trophies for each teammate, commemorating their accomplishments.

That’s not something players can do early, but exploring parts of the new Raid is on the menu for glitchers.

It’s a bit of a process to pull off, but Guardians can reach the new raid area right now by first getting access to the Dreaming City.

Having reached this new endgame area, players can then travel to Rheasilvia and spend a lot of time on the main bridge, trying to jump glitch with a sword into the next area.

Guardians who have completed the feat confirm that you travel to a place called the Tower of Opened Eyes and the First Spire, which contains the hidden loot.

Guardians have even found a way to reset the chest to keep grabbing the loot until they have near complete sets.

And this is days before anyone who should be getting their hands on it.

This includes a new Pulse Rifle called the Chattering Bone, as well as items from the “Great Hunt.”

This is apparently connected to Destiny’s mysterious Dragons, which could be part of the Last Wish Raid.

Fans will probably have to wait until the Raid unlocks to find that out, but that hasn’t stopped grabbing the loot rewards early.

You can expect that Bungie will plug this glitch pretty soon, and it’s unclear if any punishments will be dished out to those who got the gear early.

Tomorrow will see a new Destiny reset performed, with Bungie confirming that they are changing some things when it comes to challenges.

Weekly challenges follow the weekly reset each Tuesday at 10 AM PDT, Daily challenges, on the other hand, offer a unique challenge each day, and they reset every four days. Here are some examples:

The first daily strike challenge was offered on Tuesday, September 4. So, the next daily strike challenge will arrive with a reset on Saturday, September 8.

The first daily Gambit challenge was offered on Wednesday, September 5. So, the next daily Gambit challenge will arrive with a reset on Sunday, September 9.

However, players will retain daily challenges until they’re completed.

If a player completes the daily strike challenge on Friday, September 7, the challenge will be offered once more on Saturday, September 8.

If a player does not complete the daily strike challenge by Saturday, September 8, they will not receive a duplicate challenge. Instead, the challenge will be reset, and progress will be cleared.
