Dancing On Ice 2018: Candice Brown promises 'all the lipsticks and all the sequins'

Candice, 33, became known for her lipsticks and pouting, as well as her show-stopping cakes, as she won the contest in 2016.

And as she prepares to get her skates on for the start of the spectacular show on Sunday she revealed: “I am so ready to embrace it.

“I want all the lipsticks, I want all the feathers, I want all the sequins.

“I love getting dressed up so this is getting dressed up and then some.

“I can’t wait to get into those sequins and sparkles. I want everything.”

London-born qualified teacher Candice, who is set to marry fiance Liam Macaulay in September, said her gruelling training regime is the perfect way to get into shape for her big day.

She said: “I spend most of the time on the ice freezing my butt off.

“I hope it will get my body ready for the wedding, that will be quite nice. I don’t really enjoy the gym.

“The outfits are pretty teeny. I’m like, ‘OK, I’m naked and if the wind blows you can see my bottom’. But it’s fine, it’s covered in glitter.”

Presenter Donna Air, 38, Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker, 63, Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton, 42, and former Scotland rugby player Max Evans, 34, are among the 12 celebrities taking part.

Dancing on Ice starts this Sunday on ITV1 6pm.
