“It was lowered recently to substantial, that’s not changed, there’s no intelligence that the threat level should be increased.
“All of us should be vigilant and if we see anything at all that we think is suspicious please report it to the police.”
As for the victims, a man and a woman, the man, in his late 40s remains in hospital where he is no longer in a life-threatening condition.
The woman, in her 50s has been discharged from hospital. A second woman, in her 20s, was injured by glass following the discharge of a police firearm, she is being treated in hospital.
