Creed, 2015, brought new life to the Rocky franchise with Adonis Creed (Michael B Jordan). Creed is still battling with his father’s death, defeated in the boxing ring by a killer punch. This punch was delivered by Ivan Drago, the father of Creed’s next opponent – Viktor Drago.
Viktor is played by Florian “Big Nasty” Munteanu, a Romanian boxer who stands at a staggering 6’4” cutting an ominous figure in the boxing ring.
Creed II’s plot synopsis foretells of Creed’s attempt to balance his personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life.
Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring.

The trailer shows Michael B Jordan’s Apollo Creed taking a knock-out punch, and waking up in a hospital.
He now has a child and wife-to-be to think of as he heads into the ring.
Creed is warned against the fight by Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) who recalls Creed senior dying in his arms.

For fans eager to see the film, you can already book tickets.
For those in the US the film opens nine days earlier, on November 21.
MGM’s official trailer synopsis says of the film: “Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family.
“Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history.”
