Rachel Riley, 31, is a regular pin-up for fans of the Channel 4 gameshow and today was no exception as she teased viewers in a brightly coloured number that clung to her curves, emphasising her hourglass figure.
Wearing her blonde locks in a simple straight style loose around her shoulders, she flaunted her slender pins in the sexy number, which finished several inches above her knees and featured a tiered structure in a chic patterned fabric.
One viewer was such a fan of her look that they even took to Twitter to compliment her, gushing: “Hi Rachel. Very sexy on Countdown today.”
Meanwhile, in Dictionary Corner, Dan Walker, 40, joined Countdown stalwart Susie Dent, 52, to help her look up the top scoring words in the letters rounds.
After one advert break, host Nick Hewer, 73, asked Susie to explain the meaning and origin behind the word aesthetic.
Explaining that it came from Greek, Susie added: “I’m actually going to talk about beauty and Greece later on.”
“Because I’m on?” Dan quipped flirtatiously.
“Exactly,” Susie responded, but as she went to continue with her explanation he chipped in: “That was a joke, by the way!”
The BBC broadcaster laughed, holding his hands up apologetically as the studio remained in stony silence.
Susie seemed to see the funny side, however, as she giggled at the slightly uncomfortable moment before carrying on with her dictionary duties.
