Tonight’s explosive episode saw Todd (played by Bruno Langley) set fire to Aidan Connor’s new van (Shayne Ward), but will this result in the character being locked up?
The latest scenes come after Aidan ruined Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Todd’s chances of landing a new client this week, with him reporting back to Todd’s other half Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank).
Adam and Todd had been trying to make Colin pull out of buying Rita Tanner’s (Barbara Knox) flat, but Aidan managed to ruin their plans.
Todd not only tipped off the financial adviser that he was homeless and living in the factory, but he also set fire to his new van which he had bought with Alya Nazir (Sair Khan).
So, what will happen to Todd now?
Fans immediately took to Twitter to have their say on the whole thing, with one person asking: “#Corrie #CoronationStreet What if that leads to Todd’s departure?”
“Reckon Todd may be departing during xmas episodes. Arrest or death perhaps? #coronationstreet #Corrie,” a second quizzed.
Others insisted that Coronation Street was getting too dark for their liking, with one moaning: “#coronationstreet is just too dark now I am no longer entertained, it is a shame it used to be my favorite…bye.”
“This is turning into the bill. What happened to fun and laughter? Not ott s**t stories!!! #coronationstreet (sic),” a second raged.
