Coronation Street spoilers: Is Carla Connor PREGNANT? Fans spot huge clue

Carla (played by Alison King) and her family were celebrating her return to Weatherfield in the Rovers Return when the incident took place.

Her father, Johnny (Richard Hawley), offered Carla a glass of champagne but she refused, claiming that she was driving.

She said: “Hey! I don’t need a drink to have a good time. But don’t let me stop you horrible lot getting sozzled!”

However, it was clear something more was amiss when Carla took the glass she was given and threw the bubbly down the sink in the Rover’s bathroom.

She then turned away as a worried expression spread over her face.

Fans of the ITV soap were quick to take to Twitter and ruminate on what Carla’s actions could mean.

“I think Carla is pregnant. It would make sense her not being able to drink,” one guessed.

While another pondered: “Catching up on the soaps. Starting with @itvcorrie .. is Carla pregnant? Is that why she isn’t drinking?”

However, others hastily noted there could be other reasons for her sobriety and suggested she could in fact be unwell.

“Carla is either pregnant or ill and I’m scared #corrie,” a viewer speculated.

Could Carla be pregnant? And if she is, who is the father?

Coronation Street continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
