Eva (played by Catherine Tyldesley) is certainly not happy after the hairdresser exposed her fake pregnancy on Monday night and now the pair are set for a vicious brawl.
The love rivals will find themselves fighting one another in a fountain outside the lavish wedding venue.
In first look images from the long-running ITV series Eva can be seen standing on the edge of the fountain in her wedding dress before jumping on top of Maria (Samia Longchambon).
The scorned bar maid is also pictured pulling on her former best friend’s hair as they roll around in the water.
In fact, Eva’s behaviour could see her almost drown Maria as they come to blows over Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward).
It comes after over seven million viewers tuned in on Monday night to see Maria ruin Eva’s wedding by exposing her fake pregnancy in a bid to win back Aidan.
Viewers will have to wait until tonight to see if Aidan ties the knot with Eva and if Maria survives the fountain brawl.
Fans have been firmly on Team Eva since Maria started her sordid affair with Aidan but stars have warned that the tables may turn.
Soap actress Samia said that she “feels sorry” for Eva, while Catherine added that that viewers opinions of their characters “could change”.
Coronation Street continues tonight on ITV at 7.30pm.
