The 38-year-old actor appeared on Lorraine earlier today to discuss his harrowing role as rapist Neil Clifton, explaining that he almost turned it down.
Teasing the storyline’s resolution, Ben threw a curveball into the ring, leaving Lorraine Kelly stunned.
“Maybe it was all undercover, and I’m gonna team up with Bethany to bring Nathan down…
“Who knows?” the actor joked, leaving Lorraine gasping at the thought.
However, fans of the popular ITV soap know that Bethany (played by Lucy Fallon) recently opened up about her harrowing ordeal to best friend Craig Tinker (Colson Smith).
After much persuasion from loveable Craig, the schoolgirl finally found the courage to report evil Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) and his PC friend.
With DC Leigh about to help Bethany get the justice she deserves, the schoolgirl will finally receive the news that the pair will go to trial for their horrific actions.
Will the evil duo feel the full force of the law or will they manage to worm their way out of this one?
