Coronation Street spoiler: Chesney Brown DEAD after SHOCK Bistro gang attack?

The shocking new storyline will see the soap favourite’s (played by Sam Aston) life hanging in the balance.

In scenes set to air later this year, Chesney will undergo a harrowing ordeal which sees him stabbed in the neck and left for dead on the floor.

The attack happens after a gang tries to break in and rob The Bistro, ultimately leaving Chesney in a pool of blood.

Chesney, who works in Prima Doner, hears a commotion after a late shift and gets caught in the crossfire.

After a struggle, a broken bottle could see the end of the much-loved character in the ITV soap.

According to the Sun, a show insider said: “A gang of thugs try to rob The Bistro.

“They smash up the place and then Chesney gets in the way. One stabs him in the neck with a broken bottle. 

“Michelle is seen screaming while Daniel and Adam rush to Chesney’s side, trying to keep him awake.”

The show source continued: “But he is slipping in and out of consciousness. 

“And the big cliff-hanger will be whether he survives the attack or not.”

Will the kebab shop employee survive? Who will be around to try and save Chesney?
