Nathan had been arrested for assault, but Bethany proved she would “do anything” by conjuring up the lie to suspicious officials.
Despairing as Bethany gave Nathan a false alibi, fans instantly took to social media to share their disgust.

This is not the first time viewers have felt repulsed, with Bethany losing her virginity to the evil man last month.
Viewers watched in disgust as the 16-year-old woke up naked in the 35-year-old’s bed after his accomplice Mel got her drunk at a nightclub.
It comes as Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) shockingly revealed that she had previous connections with “creepy” Nathan during tonight’s episode.
Soap fans saw Gail (Helen Worth) spot a bruise on Shona’s shoulder, to which the Corrie regular revealed it had been the outcome of a recent abusive relationship.
