Charlotte Hawkins in EXPLOSIVE attack at Piers Morgan over offensive gender-neutral rant

The 52-year-old continued to pull his hair out over gender-neutrality, but was swiftly sit down by Charlotte, who felt the wrath of her co-host, despite celebrating her 41st birthday today.

After Piers Morgan raged that young boys should not be allowed to wear skirts in school, hailing it as “anarchy”, Charlotte snapped: “I don’t know why you’re so vehemently against it. If your child came to you and said they didn’t identify as a gender, would you say pull your socks up and get on with it?”

Piers replied: “I’m sorry, but at the schools in this country, you have to have some discipline with how they’re dressed.

“You may as well not have school at all, let’s have a non-binary country where there are no rules.”

“You know what the decision is, you were born male or female. Unless you believe you were born the wrong sex and are transgender,” he explained. “This non-binary thing is ridiculous, it’s anarchy.”

Susanna Reid, 46, tried to defuse the situation by wishing Charlotte a happy birthday, which Piers managed to rubbish.

“Are you the birthday girl today? I think that’s offensive to non-binary people. It’s only my opinion, I may be wrong,” he quipped.

Good Morning Britain viewers became increasingly frustrated by Piers’ obsession with the issue, after he grilled both Joan Collins and Sarah Beeny about it later in the show.

Though, he was eventually taken down by an offended guest when he declared that he was going to identify as a “black non-binary”.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
