Celebrity Big Brother rewiew: Ann Widdecombe is the best housemate by some distance

It’s 100 years since women received the vote, so Channel 5 improbably decided to make it an “all ladies” affair for a few days before bringing in the lads on Friday.

The best booking by some distance is Daily Express columnist Ann Widdecombe.

Quite why she did it is beyond me, although she said she has “always said no” but was told by the channel that it would be “slightly more serious” this time.

That was until a “friend” of a Kardashian named Malika arrived on set.

It’s OK, no one else really knows who she is either.

This is the sort of pairing many of us would have hoped for, although a wide-ranging discussion on Brexit between the two seems unlikely.

A wide-ranging discussion on coining it in from Instagram is more likely, while Ann continues to wonder why the furnishings are so drab in the house.

“No Sanderson [fabric],” she said, on arriving down the stairs.

Let’s block ads! (Why?)
