Whilst on a press tour to promote Kong: Skull Island, the Oscar-winner was asked about whether or not her superhero will have a mohawk in the solo outing.
Carol Danvers has had many looks over the years and it’s not clear what exactly Brie will have in the upcoming blockbuster.
Asked outright if she’ll have a mohawk by IGN, she shrugged: “I can’t say anything!”
She added: “I feel like this is a big conversation and every day I have people yelling at me on Twitter, like: ‘You better have long hair, you better have the mohawk, you better wear the helmet, or you better not wear the helmet.’
“It’s like ‘Somebody’s going to be mad.’”
Speaking further about her love for the caper, the actress beamed: “Just the fact that she can be a bridge between two worlds, that she can go to Earth and go to Space and that her own personal place is in the littlest place in between where Earth ends and space begins is hers is so moving to me.
“I’ve been so inspired going through all the comics and reading them right now, it’s what I’ve been doing on the side and I’m just amazed.”
Captain Marvel currently has no director attached, although Nicole Perlman is in charge of the script.
