BRITs 2018 Liam Gallagher leaves viewers in tears as he pays tribute to Manchester victims

Jack Whitehall hosted the BRIT Awards tonight, poking fun at the audience and stars attending.

However he fell sombre as Gary Barlow took to the stage.

Gary introduced Liam Gallagher, who performed at the Manchester victim support gig in June last year.

Discussing the delicate topic, he said: “A horrific terrorist attack took place, stealing the lives of 22 people while injuring and maiming hundreds others.

“Their lives were changed irreparably forever.

“These beautiful music loving people were unaware their lives would be taken.”

He went on to pay his respects to Ariana Grande, as he added: “A few weeks later Ariana returned to the scene of the tragedy.

It was an event that epitomised the human spirit.

“Fear will never divide us. They will always live on in our hearts and memories.”

One wrote: “Well Liam Gallagher has wiped the floor with and blown the rest of the performers out of the water tonight. #BRITs2018”

Another said: “Touching moment to watch Liam Gallagher sing an oasis classic in memory of #manchester bombing victims too #Britawards2018 #BRITs2018.”

This heart-wrenching speech and performance came after Olly Murs was snubbed by Jack for tweeting about alleged gunshots in a shop.

The BRIT Awards red carpet saw Dua Lipa stun crowds in an enormous dress.
