Bloody With A Chance Of Body Parts: Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 Gets Even More Ridiculous

The sequel to mafia-themed action game Guns, Gore & Cannoli makes a bold move: it takes all the stale clichés and throws them together. Zombies? Check. Nazis? Check. Single-handedly winning World War 2 while munching on cannoli? Uh… check? The weird thing is: this works, and it’s a lot of ridiculously gory, over the top fun.

Playing as Vinnie Cannoli, mobster with a pasta predilection, you fight the minions of the ominous Dark Don and somehow end up on the European battlefields. It’s a wild ride, made even wilder by a ridiculous assortment of weapons you get to wield.

Making your way through cleverly designed levels which feature some platforming and very light environmental puzzling, you’ll get to shoot, blast, burn, and maul hundreds of bad guys. It’s fast-paced and plays well, and it’s more fun than it has any right to be.

This gets even better when you’ve got company. Local and online co-op modes allow up to four players to engage in this silly slaughter. Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 is a wonderfully ridiculous action platformer that has all the gibs, ghouls & bazookas you’d ever want from a game.

You can purchase Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 from Steam for $ 12.99. Console versions for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are scheduled to arrive in the coming months. For more information, visit the game’s website or follow developer Crazy Monkey Studios on Facebook or Twitter.
