Black Ops 4 UPDATE 1.04: PS4 and Xbox One patch notes to include Gun Game news

Treyarch has not formally announced its release yet, however, a new Black Ops 4 update is out now on PS4 and Xbox One.

The new Call of Duty build went live within the last hour and looks to be a large file size on consoles.

According to fans online, the new Call of Duty update is as big as the last one, weighing in at 11GB on PS4, and 12GB on Xbox One.

Full patch notes have yet to be released for the new Black Ops 4 update, although, they are expected to be shared later today.

Treyarch has confirmed previously that they would be making changes to weapons, as well as adding new bug fixes.

One notable tweak is the return of the Gun Game, which should be available to everyone after they have downloaded the new Black Ops 4 update.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 1.04 will be going live in all regions and will be required to continue playing online.

Activision recently confirmed that after launching the Black Market update on Xbox One and PC, they would be focusing on issues concerning the use of in-game exploits.

“We are currently tracking players implementing an exploit that allows multiple copies of the same Perk to be equipped in Multiplayer,” Treyarch explains.

“We are clearing those players’ Create-a-Class entries as a warning and will be banning repeat offenders after this point. This exploit will be resolved in an upcoming update.”

As a reminder of our enforcement policy in Black Ops 4: Any player who abuses an exploit in game code or other established rule of play is subject to penalty. These penalties for Glitching include:

First offense: Player will be temporarily suspended from playing the game online, will have their stats, Emblems, and Paintjobs reset, will have online split-screen privileges revoked, and will have their Leaderboard entries deleted.

Extreme or repeat offenses: Player will be permanently suspended from playing the game online, will have their stats, Emblems, and Paintjobs reset, and will be blocked permanently from appearing in Leaderboards.
