BBC weather: Carol Kirkwood wows fans with morning forecast – 'Absolutely beautiful'

The 54-year-old ventured out from the BBC Breakfast studios to deliver the morning forecast at the picturesque location.

But, Carol still had to wrap up warm in a blue fitting jacket and stripy top as she told viewers it will be a chilly day.

She said in some areas, there will be a touch of frost but overall it will be sunnier and warmer across the UK.

At 9:00am this morning, the north of Scotland will see more cloud and patchy rain but coming down south, there will be sunnier skies.

The cloud will reach Essex and London but it will lift later on in the day.

The south West and Wales will see temperatures quickly picking up in the sunshine whilst northern Ireland will see a fine and dry start but a little more cloud than yesterday.

Most of the UK will have a beautiful day and temperatures will range between 15 to 18 degrees celsius although it could reach 20 degrees celsius in some parts.

This evening, there will be rain through Scotland and some frost around the southern counties.

Tomorrow, there will be showers first thing in the morning in northern Scotland and in the evening, southern areas will see some heavy and thundery rain.

And, BBC viewers were certainly loving Carol being out and about today as she was inundated with compliments.

One person wrote: “Looking brilliant @kewgardens & @carolkirkwood weather presenting at its best.”

“Morning Carol absolutely beautiful, oh so are the gardens,” said another.

Whilst a third wrote: “Good morning beautiful.”

BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6:00am on BBC One.
