She said it will be mostly dry across the UK today with one or two showers but most places will see sunny spells
This morning there is quite a bit of cloud across south west England, south Wales and southern counties. There is also somee sea fog in the English Channel which will bring about a fair bit of cloud.
In the North of England and Scotland, it will be sunny but a chilly start with temperatures in single figures although these will increase throughout the day.
Those close to the coast in Northern Ireland will get some sea fog from the Irish sea and some sunshine whereas Wales will be fairly cloudy.
Through the course of the day, it will brighten up in the south and there could be some showers developing in Kent. But in the sunshine, it will feel quite pleasant with temperatures at 23, 24 degrees celsius.
Through this evening, there is a lot of dry weather around with a little bit of mist forming and it won’t be as cold tonight.
Tomorrow will start with rain coming from the west and it will be a little windy as well as a lot of dry weather for most of the UK.
