The popular weatherwoman was back in the safety of the BBC Breakfast studio after viewers spotted a major safety error on the BBC show when she sped off on a quad bike.

And, during today’s BBC Breakfast segment, the 54-year-old brightened up the day as she looked ravishing in a busty red dress whilst viewers flocked to Twitter to ask Carol for some sunshine today.

One person wrote: “Morning carol, hope the weather is better today xx.”

“Morning. Can I place an order for sun please? Thanking you in advance,” asked another.

Whilst a third said: “I want sunshine, blue sky’s please today along with that wonderfully infectious smile.”

Fans of the BBC show would have certainly been pleased with Carol’s morning forecast as she said it will be a chilly start for some of us but it will be  alright morning.

She told viewers there will be some cloud across eastern areas and it will feel nippy on the east cast as it will be very breezy.

Inland areas can expect sunny spells with a lot of dry weather, with the south west seeing most of th sunshine with temperatures topping 15 degrees celsius.

South east and the midlands will also see some sunshine whilst Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland will have a fine day as temperatures get close to 20 degrees celsius.

Tonight, Carol said there will be some rain coming in but most areas can expect a dry day although for many, it will be cold by night time.
